FAQ

Isn't seder a Jewish tradition?

Yes, and that's why Jesus celebrated it. God declares that the passover seder should be celebrated as a lasting ordinance.

What churches do you serve?

We serve churches of all traditions. If you believe in the God of the Bible, want to learn more about the celebration of passover, and have a little fun, this seder is for you. Whether yours is a non-denominational or mainline denomination, catholic or protestant, messianic or traditonal jewish.

What will we learn?

The celebration of passover is a lively, family friendly event. We make every effort to tell the story found in Scripture and include the traditions that point to God's love for us.

  • The significance of Passover
  • How to tell our children the story of God's deliverance
  • The lessons of each part of the meal
  • The God of the Bible is a living God who loves us

What about alcohol?

While many church traditions allow for actual wine to be used, we do not include alcohol in our service. A red grape juice is used. This allows everyone to focus on the lessons of the seder.

What about food allergies?

We have been hosting seders a long time and there are accommodations that can be made for almost all diets. For instance, a gluten-free matza is now available. Pork should not be included in the meal.
